Module 1

When asked a question, remember to use the same verb used in the question.

I may ask you the meaning of your sentences in English. 

In Spanish, name the plural subject pronouns using the male and female form. (we, they, etc.)

In Spanish, name the singular subject pronouns using the male and female form. (I, you (formal and informal), he, etc.)

What are collective nouns (answer in English)?

Tell me a sentence, in Spanish, using a collective pronoun using three adjectives.

Tell me a sentence describing two friends or relatives. Use their name, what they do (work, students, etc.), and two other items to help describe them (tall, smart, nice, etc.)

Why is it important to speak Spanish in any career (in answer English)?

In Spanish, state two things you don’t like or don’t do using “ni”.

In Spanish, form one sentence using the prepositions “sin” and “con” in the same sentence.

Explain the difference between gustar and encantar (in English).

Provide a sentence using gustar, and one using encantar, in Spanish.

Explain the difference between tocar and jugar (in English).

Provide one sentence using tocar, and another sentence using jugar, in Spanish.

When do you use al and del (in English)?

When do you use saber and when do you use conocer (in English)?

Tell me a sentence in Spanish using saber.

Create two sentences in Spanish explaining where the closest fire station is located.

Knowing what you know now, which three Spanish speaking countries do you think are interesting, and why?

What’s a reflexive verb (in English)?

Provide three examples of reflexive verbs.

You learned about Maya customs in their games and clothing. Pick one of these topics you learned about and explain why it would be beneficial to continue these customs today (in English).
